Contractors we partner with
We are looking for plumbing and sewer contractors who run camera inspections, hydro-jet and cable lines, locate and repair lateral breaks, and replace or rehabilitate laterals by open trench, pipe bursting or cured-in-place lining. Companies that pull the right-of-way or street-cut permits for the city side of a lateral are a particularly good fit.
Sewer Line Repair Pros does not dig or line anything. It is an independent resource published by Cornelia Cove LLC. Our pages explain repair methods, who owns which part of the lateral and what drives the price, so the owner understands your recommendation.
Where requests come from
Owners find us after recurring backups, gurgling toilets, sewage in the basement floor drain, a sinkhole in the yard, a camera report from a home inspection or a notice from the city about a lateral defect. They read the cost guides, compare trenchless and open-cut methods, and check the city pages that summarize lateral ownership and permit rules where a local agency publishes them.
Requests come only through our form: name, phone, service needed, city, urgency and a description. If the owner used a free tool such as the cost estimator, the result travels with the request. We never forward a request someone did not send.
Inside a forwarded request
A person reviews each request before it goes out. You see contact details, city, urgency and the description, which frequently mentions the age and material of the pipe, how far the house sits from the street, whether a camera inspection was already done and whether the property is being sold. Active backups are labeled so you can reach those owners first.
We tell owners an independent local contractor may call them. We do not imply you work for us, and we do not quote prices in your name.
One contractor per county, first come
Each county belongs to one partner. Sewer requests from inside it go to that partner only and are never resold or split. Lateral ownership, inspection-at-sale rules and street-cut permits are typically set by cities and counties, so a county boundary is easy to explain to everyone involved.
The first qualified contractor to complete onboarding for a county receives it. If yours is already assigned, ask to be put on its waiting list or ask about an adjoining open county. We assign only as much territory as your crews can answer quickly.
What we ask of partners
Hold the plumbing or sewer contractor license your state and city require, carry liability insurance and be ready to show proof. Share camera footage or stills with the owner, and quote in writing with excavation, pipe, permit, restoration and any city-side work separated. Answer new requests promptly and tell us about invalid or out-of-area requests.
If cleaning the line will solve the problem for now, tell the owner. Our guides explain that not every root intrusion means replacement.
Typical owner situations behind a request
Older neighborhoods with clay or cast iron laterals produce a lot of the requests, along with homes where tree roots have followed the pipe for decades. Sales are another trigger: buyers increasingly order a sewer scope, and a bad report puts a deadline on the repair. Owners usually want to know three things before they agree to anything: what the camera shows, which method fits their yard and driveway, and how long the house will be without a working drain. Answering those plainly is the fastest way to a signed proposal.
Common questions from sewer contractors
Do owners know whether they are responsible for the city side? Often not, and our pages tell them to check with the city, so expect that question. Are commercial laterals included? Occasionally; they are flagged in the description. Can a jetting-only company apply? Yes, if you state what you do not offer.

Partner terms are agreed one company at a time before any request is sent. We do not publish partner prices and do not promise request volume; it depends on local demand and the season.
